Mundane Information About Stuff You Really Thought You Knew

After a series of delay’s 3D Realms and Human Head Game’s space ship stranded FPS “Prey” hits the Xbox Live servers in everywhere bar Japan and Germany. Check out a long preview here.
Prey really pushes the boundaries of what you’d expect from an FPS by including the most “that’s so cool†moments in a single 5-level demo. The puzzle elements, amazing atmosphere and dual perspective through human and spirit eyes should prove to be a massive hit with FPS fans.
(via Adam Gartenberg) New Sametime 7.5 flash demo available
We just posted a new Sametime 7.5 flash demo to the updated Sametime homepage. It’s designed to not just highlight the capabilities of Sametime, but to do so using a realistic business example as a backdrop. If you’ve got people in your organization who are still questioning the business value of IM or Web conferencing, here’s a good conversation starter.

TUESDAY 070410
Five rounds for time of:
Run 400 meters
15 Front Squat 135#
7 Muscle-up

Jumping pull-ups can be a substitution for those unable to do pull-ups yet they yield the same work as any other full range of motion pull-up type (ie dead hang, kipping, etc.) Maybe uncommon, they can be extremely demanding metabolically. Attempt 100 for time to match Ahmik Jones 1:52.
Brian Wood points out Apollo Lemmon’s Demo suitcase, made from a yard-sale find and two issues of the Wood-Cloonan series.
“The two issues were the most touching of the stories told in Demo for me, so they had special resonance,” Lemmon writes. “The lighter side is from ‘Mix Tape,’ which tells of a girl who committed suicide and left a farewell mix tape for her boyfriend. The darker side is from ‘Mon Dernier Jour Avec Toi,’ the story of two lovers’ last night together. They’re both visually and narratively superb, and I wanted to preserve some of that in my collaging.”
